Adult Tennis Lessons in New Braunfels: FAQs
How much do adult tennis lessons cost in New Braunfels?
1 of the 6 adult tennis lessons in New Braunfels is free to attend; the rest run from $23 to $35 (typical: $35). Every figure is computed from the listings themselves, not estimated.
What's the difference between group and private lessons?
Group clinics are the default for beginners: rally partners, built-in practice time and usually a social circle, for a fraction of the price. Privates cost more but move faster if you have one specific problem to fix.
What should I bring to my first tennis lesson?
Racquets can usually be borrowed or rented at parks and clubs; balls are provided. Wear tennis shoes if you have them — running shoes are fine for a first lesson — and bring water and a hat.
I haven't played since school — is there a class for me?
That's the most common starting point, and most adult programmes are built for it. Level 1 clinics assume you can get the ball over the net inconsistently, or not at all; there's no age cap.
Do I need a membership or a USTA rating to take lessons?
Neither is required for lessons. A membership is rarely needed — a few private clubs ask for one and the listing says so. Ratings matter for league play, not for classes; coaches group you by what they see on the day.
